Pre Natal Pilates

We offer private and group prenatal Pilates sessions that provide benefits during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

The benefits of prenatal Pilates include core strengthening, improved flexibility and balance, enhanced pelvic floor strength, reduced aches and pain, increased relaxation, and better preparation for labor. Our sessions also focus on enhancing neck and shoulder stability, preparing you for the increased upper body strength needed with a newborn.

Our group prenatal Pilates classes also provide a supportive community for new and experienced mums to share and learn more about the changes they have experienced and will experience during this season of life.

Getting Started

New to Pilates

If you are new to Pilates, we recommend starting with a minimum of 3 private sessions.

During these sessions, our Pilates Instructor will perform a complete personalised body assessment, introduce you to the principles of Pilates, and ensure that you are performing the exercises accurately and safely.

You can generally start prenatal Pilates at any time during your pregnancy, provided you have received clearance from your healthcare provider.

Experienced Pilates Practitioner

If you were already practicing Pilates prior to your pregnancy, you can often continue with modifications. Book any of our Preggie Bellies classes or schedule a private session to continue.
